I can’t seem to quench my thirst?
Loopy Asked: I can’t seem to quench my thirst?
Its been almost 3months and i can't seem to stop drinking. I was thinking i might have diabetes because it runs in the family. -dads side-
Not alcohol or anything, just like normal ****, Pepsi, juice..etc.I don't drink water thought. (is that bad?)
Also, i get real bad headaches and i get hot if i don't drink anything for a certain amount of time. I think this is weird in my opinion. I work the night shift so i am bound to eat and drink sugary stuff to keep my awake (not like it works anyway).. This may be the cause.:S
What do you all think? (I also want your opinion.)
I had that problem, I was told to drink Gatorade and it helped.
u need to drink water!
drink alot of water
Water, you need WATER!!! Not juice, not soda WATER. People need it. No wonder your dehydrated, soda makes you thirstier and juice dries your mouth after a while.
if you are doubt ful that you are effect with diabetes just goonce for the blood sugar test of pre & post prandial once it get confirmed try to avoid eating sugar content substances mostly avoided
Its your diet and the caffeine can dehydrate you, it causes fluid to pass through your body more quickly than usual. The fluid travels through your system rapidly, making you urinate more often than usual, meaning that your body discards the fluid before taking the liquid it needs. Especially in higher doses, caffeine can even cause diarrhea, which also dehydrates. Dehydration interferes with kidney function, slows both your metabolism and your brain activity, causes skin problems (flushing) and leads to constipation. Because your body desperately needs more water, dehydration can make you feel extremely thirsty and the sugary drinks can cause your blood glucose levels to become unstable and cause your headaches until your drink the sugary drinks again. So, its like a rollercoaster.
Dont drink caffeinated beverages to quench your thirst. Your body often triggers thirst to communicate that it needs more water, and caffeines diuretic effects could help flush the fluid from your body, rather than replenishing it. Try drinking 8 glasses of 8 oz of water even if you flavor it with lime/lemon or crystal light it will help you with your toxic symptoms.Try to avoid sugar altogether in order to stabilize your blood glucose levels. Low blood sugar will also cause some of your headaches and flushing (feeling hot) as your body cannot process all the sugar and caffeine. If you need sugar, try artificial sweetners such as Stevia which is good for you better than the others a more natural form of sugar.Try eating smaller meals, low carb, add more protein and exercise if you can to relieve some of the stress too and of course try to drink more water (flavor it).
Hope this helps.
